Chesney's 2005 Tour Grosses $63 Million
Kenny Chesney grossed $65 million on his 2005 tour to bring in more money than any other country star, according to Billboard Boxscore. With an attendance draw of 1.1 million, his total audience was second only to U2, who grossed $260 million this year. Other top tours include the Eagles ($117 million), Neil Diamond ($71 million), Paul McCartney ($60 million), Rod Stewart ($49 million), Elton John ($45.5 million touring, plus another $30 million via his Las Vegas show, The Red Piano), the Dave Matthews Band ($45 million), Jimmy Buffett ($41 million) and Green Day ($36.5 million).
