A companion album to the 1976 film documentary Heartworn Highways will be released on March 14 featuring previously
unreleased recordings from Steve Earle, Townes Van Zandt, Rodney Crowell, John Hiatt, Guy Clark and David Allan Coe, among
others. Filmed in Nashville and Austin, Texas, the documentary focuses on these singer-songwriters in the earliest days of
their careers. Each song has been restored to its full length, speed corrected and remastered, with the assistance of the
movie's original producer, Graham Leader, and editor, Phillip Schopper.
