Reese Witherspoon collected an award for best actress from the Screen Actors Guild on Sunday night (Jan. 29) in Los Angeles
for her role as June Carter in Walk the Line. "Oh, my God, y'all. Sometimes I can't just shake the feeling that I'm
just a little girl from Tennessee," Witherspoon said as she accepted the award. "I want to say my biggest inspiration for
this movie obviously was June Carter. She was an incredible woman." Joaquin Phoenix was nominated for best actor for his portrayal
of Johnny Cash but lost to Philip Seymour Hoffman (Capote).
