The makers of the candy GooGoo Clusters have not renewed their sponsorship deal with the Grand Ole Opry, ending an advertising
partnership of nearly 40 years. The Standard Candy Co. invented the GooGoo Cluster in 1912 in downtown Nashville and has been
an official Opry supporter since the late 1960s. The last GooGoo jingle -- "Go get a GooGoo/It's Good" -- aired Jan. 28.
