John Michael Montgomery has been released from the Fayette County Detention Center in Lexington, Ky., after being arrested
early Thursday morning (Feb. 16) on alcohol, drug and weapons charges. Montgomery was arrested around 2:20 a.m. after police
in Lexington saw his vehicle swerving near a local intersection. According to WKYT-TV, Montgomery was booked for D.U.I, possession
of a controlled substance, carrying a concealed weapon, disregarding a traffic control device and improper turning. The Lexington
Herald-Leader newspaper reports that Montgomery was in possession of Endocet, a drug that contains the powerful painkiller
Oxycodone. Montgomery resides in Nicholasville, Ky., a community located south of Lexington.
