The Del McCoury Band will release their first bluegrass gospel album, The Promised Land, on June 13 on McCoury Music/Sugar
Hill. Rather than revive the gospel classics, the 14-song collection includes McCoury's versions of songs that were either
obscure or previously unrecorded by others. The Promised Land will also be the first album with new bass player Alan
Bartram. The Del McCoury Band won their first Grammy last month for their latest album, The Company We Keep.
