Buddy Jewell's father died Thursday night (April 20) in Arkansas following a long struggle with diabetes. Buddy Jewell Sr.
raised his son with the music of Marty Robbins and Johnny Horton, which ultimately led to Jewell's pursuit of a country music
career. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association.
