Music producer Brian Ahern, best known in Canada for bringing Anne Murray to prominence, will be inducted into the Canadian
Country Music Hall of Fame in September. A native Canadian who now lives in the U.S., Ahern produced many of Emmylou Harris'
early solo albums. He and Harris were also married from 1977 to 1984. Other inductees include the late singer-songwriter Terry
Carisse and broadcaster Curley Gurlock. The ceremonies will be held Sept. 11 in Saint John, New Brunswick.
