Gary Allan's See If I Care, the Dixie Chicks' Taking the Long Way and Tim McGraw's Greatest Hits Vol. 2
are among the latest albums officially certified platinum by the RIAA for shipments of 1 million copies. McGraw's latest achievement
brings his total shipments to 30 million to place him in the same category as the Doors and Linda Ronstadt. Country Music
Hall of Fame member Ray Price's For the Good Times also received platinum certification, and his Greatest Hits
album hit the gold level for shipments of 500,000 copies. Other gold certifications include Lyle Lovett's I Love Everybody
and Van Zant's debut album, Get Right With the Man. On the digital side, Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Lonestar
and Josh Turner each had two singles certified gold for 100,000 downloads. Others gaining gold certification for downloads
include Sara Evans, Martina McBride, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts and Sugarland.
