Billy Joe Shaver played the last show of the Opry Plaza Party weekly series on Saturday night (Aug. 12) in Nashville, concluding
a summer of free music outside the Grand Ole Opry House. Shaver, who had just returned that day from touring the United Kingdom,
played several of his best-known hits as a songwriter, including "Honky Tonk Heroes," "I'm Just an Old Chunk of Coal," "Live
Forever" and "Ride Me Down Easy."
