Dolly Parton appeared at her theme park Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tenn., on Friday morning (Sept. 15) to launch the new Bluegrass
& BBQ festival there. Her appearance coincides with the release of her new cookbook, Dolly's Dixie Fixin's, which
includes her own recipes and contributions from her mother, her mother-in-law, Dollywood's Noodlin' Ned's Catfish restaurant
and her Dixie Stampede Dinner and Show franchise. In addition to the barbecue, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder performed
at the festival.
