Nashville radio station WSM-AM, the longtime home of the Grand Ole Opry, has been dropped by Sirius Satellite Radio. The station was deleted Wednesday (Sept. 13) from the list of more than 100 channels available from the subscription radio service. The Opry and WSM-AM Web sites are encouraging listeners to express their opinions to Sirius' customer service department in New York. Both the Opry and WSM-AM are owned by Gaylord Entertainment. Sirius offers four other country-related music channels, including a classic country station now being streamed on the channel previously occupied by WSM-AM, which continues to offer its programming to a worldwide audience on the Internet.
