Mark Chesnutt released a new album, Heard It in a Love Song, on CBuJ Records on Tuesday (Sept. 26). The title song
is a remake of the 1977 hit by the Marshall Tucker Band. Other new releases include the Waylon Jennings boxed set Nashville

reissue of Dwight Yoakam's 1986 debut, Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc. (Rhino) and a Texas musical tribute Why the
Hell Not ... The Songs of Kinky Friedman (Sustain). New bluegrass releases include David Davis and the Warrior River
Boys (Rebel), Carrie Hassler and Hard Rain (Rural Rhythm) and Newfound Road's Life in a Song (Rounder).
