Hank Williams' two children will control the catalog of recordings of his performances on the Mother's Best Radio Showin
1952, according to a ruling by the Tennessee Supreme Court. Polygram Records and Legacy Entertainment Group LLC wanted to
release the music themselves because Williams made phonograph records for MGM Records, now under Polygram. However, the ruling
indicates the label does not have rights to music recorded on the radio show. Instead, that catalog will now be controlled
by Hank Williams Jr. and Jett Williams. The case has been in litigation for nearly a decade.
