Singer-songwriter Jewel has been named to co-host the fifth season of Nashville Star. Jewel, who succeeds Wynonna in
the role, will be working alongside Cowboy Troy, who also co-hosted during the most recent programs. Chris Young, the latest
winner of the talent competition, will release his debut album Tuesday (Oct. 3). The new season premieres Jan. 11 on the USA
Network.
