Lynyrd Skynyrd and Big & Rich perform Saturday (Oct. 7) in Atlanta during a benefit concert to raise funds for the 173rd
Airborne Brigade National Memorial to be built at the new National Infantry Museum in Fort Benning, Ga. The goal is to raise
$500,000. "When we heard that they expected it to take three to five years of a capital fundraising campaign to build the
memorial, we decided we had to find a way to raise the money in one day," said Big & Rich's John Rich. The show at the
HiFi Buys Amphitheatre will also feature John Anderson, Cowboy Troy and the Lost Trailers. Admission prices range from $15
for lawn tickets to $1,000 for VIP packages that include premium seating, an autographed guitar and a reception with the artists.
