Singer-songwriter Patty Griffin headlined the third annual Americana Folk Festival near Dickson, Tenn., on Saturday (Oct.
21), accompanied only by guitarist-producer Doug Lancio. Griffin also announced she will release a new album on Feb. 6 and
previewed several new songs from the project, including "The M.L.K. Song." The song was previously released under a different
title, "Up the Mountain," on Solomon Burke's new album, Nashville. Presented by CMT, the festival also featured performances
from Mindy Smith, the Avett Brothers, David Mead, Thad Cockrell and Chely Wright.
