Glen Campbell donated a guitar to the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in downtown Nashville on Thursday (Oct. 26). The instrument
is a reissue of the 12-string Ovation guitar Campbell used extensively after his career ignited in 1967. Before finding success
as a singer, the young guitarist was one of the most in-demand studio musicians in Los Angeles, recording with Frank Sinatra,
the Beach Boys, Nat King Cole, Dean Martin, Merle Haggard, Elvis Presley, Jan & Dean and the Righteous Brothers. Campbell
was in Nashville to perform at the Ryman Auditorium with his daughter, Debbie Campbell. Campbell was inducted into the Country
Music Hall of Fame in 2005.
