Alabama singer Randy Owen and Blake Shelton will serve as judges on the fifth season of Nashville Star on the USA Network.
They join music executive Anastasia Brown. As previously announced, pop singer-songwriter Jewel and Cowboy Troy will co-host
the show. The fifth season begins in January. Past winners of Nashville Star include Buddy Jewell, Brad Cotter, Erika
Jo and Chris Young. Miranda Lambert also competed in the first season. Auditions for the fifth season's candidates are currently
underway in Nashville.
