An album featuring 20 of Travis Tritt's hits will be released Jan. 30. Titled The Very Best of Travis Tritt, the compilation
includes his hits on Warner Bros., as well as "Best of Intentions" and "It's a Great Day to Be Alive" (released while Tritt
was signed to Columbia Records) and "This One's Gonna Hurt You (For a Long, Long Time)" (a duet with Marty Stuart released
on MCA Nashville). Tritt and record producer Randy Jackson, a judge on American Idol, are working on an album of new
material to be released later in 2007 on the independent label Category 5 Records.
