Lucinda Williams will release her eighth studio album, West, on Feb. 13 on Lost Highway Records. She co-produced the
CD with Hal Willner, who has worked with Elvis Costello, Lou Reed and Bill Frisell. Guests on the album include Frisell, Jim
Keltner, Gary Louris, Tony Garnier and Doug Pettibone. Williams released a double-disc live album in 2005. An expanded version
of her Grammy-winning 1998 album, Car Wheels on a Gravel Road, was released in October. Williams' credits as a songwriter
include Mary Chapin Carpenter's "Passionate Kisses," Patty Loveless' "The Night's Too Long" and Tom Petty's "Changed the Locks."
