Alison Krauss & Union Station will tour with bluegrass guitar legend Tony Rice in 2007, exclusively performing music from
Rice's catalog. The tour will begin April 21, and other stops include: Atlanta; Chattanooga, Tenn.; Louisville, Ky.; Wilkesboro,
N.C. (during Merlefest); Knoxville, Tenn.; Washington, D.C.; Salem, Va., and Charleston, S.C. "It's hard to find words to
say what an influence Tony Rice has been on people of our generation who grew up in bluegrass," said Union Station bassist
Barry Bales.
