CMT DukesFest, the annual gathering of fans of The Dukes of Hazzard, returns to the Tennessee State Fairgrounds in
Nashville on June 2-3. Preliminary activities will begin June 1 in Nashville's Music Valley Drive area. Ben Jones, who played
Cooter on the TV series, and his wife Alma established DukesFest in 2001 in Sperryville, Va. This year's event will feature
appearances by Jones and other cast members and a display of more than 100 replicas of the General Lee, the famous 1969 Dodge
Charger. "Last year, we drew more than 70,000 people ... over two days," Jones said. "The city said it was the largest gathering
of its kind ever in the city. That is simply a testament to the continued popularity of America's favorite family show."
