George Strait will host his 25th annual George Strait Team Roping Classic (CSTRC) on March 23-24 in San Antonio, Texas. The
competition was co-founded with Strait's brother, Buddy, in 1982 and is now one of the most respected competitions of its
kind. "My goal is, and has always been, to make the GSTRC the best roping out there. I won't be satisfied until I know it
is," said Strait. In related news, Strait launched his current tour on Thursday (Jan. 11) in Lafayette, La., and performs
Friday (Jan. 12) in Bossier City, La., and Saturday (Jan. 13) in Memphis, Tenn.
