Pam Tillis will release a new album, Rhinestoned, on April 17 on her own Stellar Cat label. After struggling to find
a direction for her first independent album, Tillis asked producer Gary Nicholson for advice. He ended up co-producing the
album with Tillis and Matt Spicher. "It needed to be more country," she says. "I played what we had for Gary, brought him
into the picture, and suddenly it felt like we weren't wandering in the woods anymore." Tillis' hits include "Maybe It Was
Memphis," "Mi Vida Loca" and "All the Good Ones Are Gone."
