Carrie Underwood will join Country Music Hall of Fame members Charley Pride and Porter Wagoner in Los Angeles for a concert
billed as "The Soul of Country." Hosted by Marty Stuart, the ninth annual event sponsored by the Grammy Foundation's music
preservation project will also feature appearances by Joe Nichols, LeAnn Rimes, Deana Carter, Solomon Burke, Shooter Jennings
and actor Terrence Howard. The concert at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre will showcase footage from the archives of the Country
Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville and is part of the activities leading up to the Grammy Awards show on Feb. 11.
Howard, who received an Oscar nomination for his work in Hustle & Flow, will star as Pride in a biographical film
to be shot in 2008 in Memphis.
