Sammy Kershaw, who hit No. 1 in 1993 with "She Don't Know She's Beautiful," has filed for bankruptcy in U.S. Bankruptcy Court
in Nashville. The singer listed liabilities between $100,001 and $1 million in the Chapter 13 filing submitted to the court
on Tuesday (Feb. 6). He also lists his assets in the same range. Chapter 13 bankruptcy is available to individuals who promise
to use available income to repay as many creditors as possible. His income was not listed in the legal documents. Kershaw,
who married singer Lorrie Morgan in 2001, enjoyed a string of No. 1 singles in the '90s, including "Cadillac Style" and "National
Working Woman's Holiday." Kershaw's last charted single, "Tennessee Girl," peaked at No. 43 in 2006.
