Nickel Creek has announced dates for the first part of their Farewell (For Now) tour, which begins April 12 in Savannah, Ga., and runs through May 12 in Salt Lake City. Summer and fall dates are forthcoming. The trio will also perform at both Coachella and Stagecoach Fest, in Indio, Calif. In a statement, the band said, "We wanted to do this in a positive way and take that last lap before our break. We want to see our fans one more time and play with the musicians that have inspired us over the years." The band announced its hiatus last year.
