Angela Hacker, a 29-year-old single mother from Muscle Shoals, Ala., is the latest winner of the Nashville Star talent
competition. The victory came Thursday night (March 1) during the season finale of the USA Network program. As a result, Hacker
was awarded a pickup truck and a Warner Bros. recording contract. Her debut album will be released on April 3.
