Brooks & Dunn will accept the Humanitarian Award from the Academy of Country Music (ACM) and The Home Depot during the
ACM Awards on May 15 in Las Vegas. As a result of the award, a playground will be built in the community of their choice.
Their charity work includes Hurricane Katrina relief, Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald
House and Laughter for the Children, which benefits a Nashville children's home. The duo has won more ACM Awards than any
artist, and they are nominated for seven awards this year, including entertainer of the year.
