Taylor Swift's debut single, "Tim McGraw," has been certified gold digitally for more than 100,000 legal downloads. Only eight
other country artists have reached this certification, including the namesake of Swift's single. Her self-titled debut album
is approaching platinum status, and her latest single, "Teardrops on My Guitar," is climbing the country chart. She is currently
on tour with Brad Paisley and will perform at the Academy of Country Music Awards on May 15 in Las Vegas.
