Miranda Lambert saw evidence of her growing popularity when she held her second annual fan club party Sunday afternoon (June
10) at City Hall, a music venue located near downtown Nashville. Fans enjoyed family-style food, including barbecue sandwiches,
beans, coleslaw and brownies. As soon as Lambert began performing, fans raced to the front of the stage and remained there
during her entire set. Lambert began with her first hit, "Me and Charlie Talking," and sang several songs, including a cover
version of Patsy Cline's "Crazy," before closing with her current single, "Famous in a Small Town." Afterwards, fans met with
Lambert to have group photos taken and chat. "My fan club has grown so much," Lambert noted. "Actually you can see -- just
the people that showed up. We have close to 500 people. Three years ago at Fan Fair, I had 20 people show up for my fan club
party. It's really been special to me."
