Van Zant will release its second country album, My Kind of Country, on Sept. 18 on Columbia Nashville. The duo earned
a gold album for its previous album, Get Right With the Man. Brothers Johnny and Donnie Van Zant, known for their respective
roles in Lynyrd Skynyrd and 38 Special, wrote or co-wrote six of the 11 songs on their new album that is being produced by
Mark Wright and Justin Niebank. Other contributing songwriters include Bob DiPiero, Rivers Rutherford, Anthony Smith, Jeffrey
Steele and Craig Wiseman. Van Zant will tour with Gretchen Wilson in the fall.
