Willie Nelson is rescheduling more than a dozen concert dates scheduled in the Midwest during July and early August, but his publicist says the 74-year-old country music icon is "just taking a few weeks off." Nelson is headlining three concerts in California through Monday (July 16) and will return to the road on Aug. 17 in Oklahoma City for a continuation of the Last of the Breed tour with fellow Country Music Hall of Fame members Ray Price and Merle Haggard. "Willie is happy, and he is healthy and works harder than anyone I know," publicist Elaine Schock tells CMT.com. "It doesn't seem unreasonable to need or want a couple of weeks off, especially when your life is planned a year in advance." She added that "most if not all" of Nelson's shows will be rescheduled within the next week. One of the cancellations, however, is an Aug. 4 appearance at the WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, Minn.
