Joe Nichols is among the guests appearing on Gene Watson's upcoming CD, In a Perfect World, due Sept. 25 on Shanachie Records. Nichols sings with Watson on the title track. Other participating country artists include Vince Gill ("Let Me Be the First to Go"), Lee Ann Womack ("Today I Started Loving You Again"), Mark Chesnutt ("This Side of the Door"), Connie Smith ("A Good Place to Turn Around") and Rhonda Vincent ("Together Again"). Watson notched 21 Top 10 hits between 1975 and 1989, including the No. 1 hit, "Fourteen Carat Mind."
