Ray Price, Merle Haggard, Billy Joe Shaver and polka king Jimmy Sturr have been added to the list of performers at Farm Aid 2007 taking place Sept. 9 at Randall's Island in New York City. Price and Haggard have been working with Farm Aid founder Nelson this year during their Last of the Breed tour. As previously announced, this year's Farm Aid will also feature Montgomery Gentry, the Allman Brothers Band and Farm Aid board members Neil Young, John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews and Nelson. Also just added to the concert are Nelson's daughter, blues singer Paula Nelson, and singer-songwriters Danielle Evin, Jesse Lenat and Pauline Reese. While in New York, Willie Nelson will perform at the Hard Rock International's Ambassadors of Rock event at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square on Sept. 10 to promote the use of biodiesel fuel.
