Kris Kristofferson, Shelby Lynne and the Rev. Jimmy Swaggart are scheduled to perform during a Nov. 10 concert honoring Jerry
Lee Lewis, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced Friday (Sept. 21). The concert at Playhouse Square's State Theater in
Cleveland is part of a six-day celebration sponsored by the Hall of Fame and Case Western Reserve University. It is part of
their 12th annual American Music Masters series which includes panel discussions, film screenings and other educational programs.
Lewis is the first living artist to be honored during the series. Swaggart, the evangelist who is Lewis' cousin, will play
piano at the concert that will also feature Wanda Jackson, Cowboy Jack Clement, George Thorogood, Narvel Felts, Billy Lee
Riley, Jason D. Williams, NRBQ's Terry Adams and Lewis' sister, Linda Gail Lewis.
