Carrie Underwood will perform the title song from The Sound of Music when the TV special, Movies Rock, is taped
on Dec. 2 in Los Angeles. The two-hour show will air Dec. 7 on CBS. Other performers include Beyoncé ("Somewhere Over
the Rainbow"), Elton John (a tribute to animated films), Mary J. Blige and John Legend ("As Time Goes By") and Fergie and
Jennifer Hudson ("Live and Let Die" and "Goldfinger"). In addition, John Williams will conduct an orchestral medley of his
film scores.
