Mindy McCready was released from jail on Sunday (Dec. 30) in Franklin, Tenn. Since September, she had been serving a one-year
sentence for violating probation from a 2004 drug arrest. She is still required to serve two years of probation. Upon her
release, she announced that she was going to focus on her music career. McCready had a No. 1 hit in 1996 with "Guys Do It
All the Time."
