Funeral services will be held Thursday (Jan. 10) in Phillipsburg, N.J., for Drew Glackin, bassist for the alt-country band,
the Silos. The 44-year-old musician died suddenly Saturday (Jan. 5) as the result of heart damage caused by an undiagnosed
thyroid condition. Glackin joined the Silos in 1998 and played a wide variety of musical instruments and styles. He played
bass on blues singer-guitarist Susan Tedeschi's Grammy-nominated album, Wait for Me. The Silos' latest album, Come
on Like the Fast Lane, was released in February 2007. For more information, visit the band's Web
