Country Radio Seminar Begins in Nashville
Radio programmers and executives from throughout the nation are convening at the Nashville Convention Center for the 39th
annual Country Radio Seminar. The event, taking place Wednesday through Friday (March 5-7), features an extensive array of
panel discussions and music events designed to keep broadcasters informed on the latest developments in country music and
the radio industry. Wednesday's agenda includes Nashville radio personality Gerry House's in-depth interview with Garth Brooks
and an evening performance by Brad Paisley. CRS closes Friday night with the New Faces show featuring 20-minute performances
by emerging artists Luke Bryan, Jason Michael Carroll, Bucky Covington, Jake Owen and Taylor Swift. As a precursor to CRS,
several award recipients will be honored by the Country Radio Broadcasters at the Country Music DJ and Radio Hall of Fame
dinner and awards ceremony on Tuesday (March 4). This year's DJ Hall of Fame inductees are Bill Cody and Bob Robbins. Jaye
Albright, Bobby Kraig and Michael Owens will be inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame. Charlie Daniels will receive the organization's
Career Achievement award, and entertainment attorney Mike Milom will be presented the President's award.
