Trace Adkins will be the keynote speaker at a Wednesday morning (March 12) news conference about endangered Civil War battlefields.
The event at the National Press Club in Washington will include the Civil War Preservation Trust's annual report citing the
10 most-threatened Civil War sites in the U.S. and what is being done to rescue them. Following the news conference, Adkins
and Civil War Preservation Trust President James Lighthizer will visit Arlington National Cemetery for a wreath-laying ceremony
at the Civil War Unknowns Monument.
