Two former Dallas police officers have been indicted on felony charges in connection with a Dec. 27 incident at singer Steve Holy's home. A Dallas County grand jury issued indictments Monday (March 17) against Randy Anderson, 27, and Paul Loughridge, 48, who are accused of holding Holy and his friend, Walter McRae, at gunpoint after they met the officers at a Dallas bar. After leaving the bar, the four men went to Holy's house and were playing foosball when Anderson questioned Holy's identity. Anderson allegedly pointed a gun at him while ordering him to get facedown on the floor. Even after allowing Holy to provide identification, Anderson reportedly continued to point a gun and ordered the singer back on the floor. McRae claims Loughridge held a gun at his head during the incident involving Holy and Anderson. Anderson was indicted on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and kidnapping. Loughridge was indicted on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. If convicted, the two men, who were later fired from the police department, could face up to 20 years in prison.
