Phil Vassar Releases New CD

Phil Vassar released his new album, Prayer of a Common Man, on Tuesday (April 22) on Universal South Records. The project includes his current Top 10 hit, "Love Is a Beautiful Thing," written by Jeffrey Steele and Craig Wiseman, as well as "Why Don't Ya," a collaboration with Los Lonely Boys. Vassar co-produced the album -- his first since departing Arista Nashville -- with Mark Wright. He wrote or co-wrote 10 of the album's 12 tracks.
