The Academy of Country Music began online voting Thursday (May 1) for its entertainer of the year award to be presented May
18 at the 43rd annual ACM Awards. It marks the first year fans have been allowed to vote in the category. This year's nominees
are Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, George Strait, Keith Urban and Rascal Flatts. All five acts have received multiple nominations
at this year's ACM Awards. Chesney has won the entertainer of the year prize for the past three years. The show takes place
at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and will be broadcast on CBS. Voting is underway at www.voteacm.com.
