Anne Murray will receive the Howie Richmond Hitmaker Award from the Songwriter's Hall of Fame on June 19 in New York City.
The award recognizes performers who have had a substantial number of hit songs for an extended period of time. Murray has
sold nearly 50 million albums and notched 10 No. 1 country hits. Her signature songs include "Snowbird," "You Needed Me,"
"I Just Fall in Love Again," "Could I Have This Dance," "A Little Good News" and "Just Another Woman in Love." She released
Anne Murray Duets: Friends & Legends, produced by Phil Ramone, earlier this year.
