Kenny Chesney spent part of Wednesday afternoon (July 16) with President George W. Bush and Baseball Hall of Fame member Frank Robinson during the first-ever White House Tee Ball All-Star Game in Washington. The country star also sang the national anthem prior to the game that featured young athletes from each of the 50 states and the District of Columbia. Chesney traveled to the White House after attending Tuesday's Major League Baseball All-Star Game at Yankee Stadium in New York. His Poets & Pirates tour resumes Thursday (July 17) when he and LeAnn Rimes appear at the Verizon Wireless Virginia Beach Amphitheater in Virginia. He heads to Philadelphia for Saturday's (July 19) stadium concert at Lincoln Financial Field with Keith Urban, Gary Allan, Sammy Hagar and Rimes.
