Crystal Shawanda Releases New Album in U.S.

Crystal Shawanda released her U.S. debut album, Dawn of a New Day (RCA Nashville), on Tuesday (Aug. 19) after a successful release in her native Canada. Shawanda began singing regularly at Tootsie's Orchid Lounge in Nashville when she was 16. Her first single is titled "You Can Let Go Now." Other new country releases include Glen Campbell's Meet Glen Campbell (Capitol Records) and George Jones' Burn Your Playhouse Down: The Unreleased Duets (Bandit Records), featuring collaborations with Vince Gill, Dolly Parton and Tammy Wynette, among others.
