LeAnn Rimes Cancels Two Shows on Kenny Chesney Tour

LeAnn Rimes has canceled two concerts with Kenny Chesney this week because of tonsillitis. Miranda Lambert filled in for Rimes at Chensey's Wednesday night (Sept. 10) show in Tulsa, Okla., and will open the show again Thursday night (Sept. 11) at the Verizon Amphitheater in St. Louis. A message on Rimes' official Web site stated, "Her doctor has advised immediate vocal rest, but she looks forward to resuming the tour on Saturday (Sept. 13) in Indianapolis and continuing to entertain her fans." Chesney, Keith Urban and Gary Allan are also on the bill for Saturday's show at the Lucas Oil Stadium. In early August, Rimes canceled two shows in Illinois and Minnesota because of tonsillitis and inflamed vocal cords.
