American Idol finalist Kristy Lee Cook released her debut album,
Why Wait, on Sept. 16 on 19 Recordings/Arista Nashville. She will perform the first single, "15 Minutes of Shame,"
on Live With Regis and Kelly on Friday (Sept. 19). Also arriving in stores is Darius
Rucker's Learn to Live, the debut solo album by lead vocalist of Hootie
& the Blowfish. Other new releases include the Eli Young Band's Jet Black
& Jealous (Universal South), songwriter Mark Erelli's Delivered (Signature Sounds), Charlie
Louvin's gospel-inspired Steps to Heaven (Tompkins Square) and folk duo Robin
& Linda Williams' Buena Vista (Red House). In addition, The Imus Ranch Record (New West) includes new
music by Big & Rich, Bekka Bramlett, Vince Gill,
Levon Helm, John Hiatt, Raul
